Esmerelda is beloved by all the Spiders and forest dwellers. She is dressed in a fabulous gown which I made from a vintage taffeta toddlers mourning jacket. (I forgot to take a "before" pic) It has wonderful ruched trim at hem and sleeves and down the front. Ruched trim also surrounds the wide collar which I wired into a calash. She wears this over a wide jacquard skirt trimmed with vintage braid and a net crinoline underneath. She has a felt pointy hat with vintage metallic braid and mohair hair and a vintage silver spiderweb pin. She has a spider friend made of torn silk. Papiermache on a cloth body on her own wood stand 22"
